			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I just started a new exercise regime called TRX. I can actually say this workout is extremely hard. There is alot of core strenght that goes into this exercise. I have been doing TRX for the last 6 weeks. I can finally do one of the core building moves but not for long. Maybe 15 seconds at the most. So what is TRX?</p>
<p>TRX &#8211; Suspension Training</p>
<p>It is a piece of exercise equipment that is very versatile. It is a total body workout that builds power, strenght,flexibility and balance. The great thing about this versatile equipment is that anybody can do it. It doesn&#8217;t matter your fitness level whether your a weekend warrior or a fitness buff. Or if your like me and only work out when there is some free time. This is one of the best workouts that I really enjoy. I have done alot of different exercise groups&#8230;&#8230;TRX is right up there with boxing bootcamp. Boxing bootcamp is also a crazy workout. If TRX and Boxing got together and made a baby well lets just say that would be the ultimate total body work out.</p>
<p>I joined another TRX session 7 weeks of pure torture:) It&#8217;s worth it&#8230;&#8230;arms are going to look real good for tank top season.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Why is it when my daughter tells me she does not want to go to school, I try to reassure her that school is a great place to be. You get to see all your friends, color pictures, learn to write words and her favorite thing is recess. All that sounds pretty great right?  My daughter is more concerned about her clothing, hair and what others will think of her. I know it&#8217;s all normal to have these feeling as a young person because I can still remember when I was young. I fine today&#8217;s kids are far more concerned about what they are wearing&#8230;.. Skinny jeans, I don&#8217;t like the fact that they are called skinny jeans. They are not appropriate for little girls and boys who need room to move and and run around on the playground. I&#8217;m guilty of buying skinny jeans for my daughter because I got caught up in this phase of jeans that are not really practical. She now wears jeans that are bootcut and not stuck to her little legs. I really like the idea of school uniforms but public schools to do not go by this method.  I want my daughter to know that wearing clothing that is considered cool is not who she is. I want her to be confident with herself from the inside out.  It takes a lot of mind over matter issues but if we start now I&#8217;m sure she&#8217;ll be just fine. She&#8217;s learning that being a nice person and treating others the way you would like to be treated is a far more positive foundation then lets say skinny jeans!</p>
<p>Another thing that bothers me is making friends. One would think that it&#8217;s pretty easy to make friends in grade 1. When I was young I was taught to be kind to everyone. My experience was not everyone wants to be your friend even if you are the nicest person. What I&#8217;ve learned was not to try to do things that others kids would approve of. Do it your way whether it&#8217;s on the monkey bars or coloring a certain way. Just be who you are that is the message I want my daughter to always remember. Not one person is the same we are all different and I want my daughter to know that it doesn&#8217;t matter what people think of you it&#8217;s what you think of your self.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So here I go again&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;..tomorrow I start a 95 day workout for 95 $$ I&#8217;m excited about this. This package includes weight/fat analysis, measurements of the body. I also get meal and workout plans to accommodate what my body needs. Also support and the motivation is priceless sometimes when it comes down to feeling and looking better. But everything cost money!! If I could have a personal trainer with me everyday to keep me motivated OMG!! I would look so hot&#8230;.. but lets get back to the real world. I wake up get my daughter ready for school, breakfast, get dressed, put hair up in pony tails. make her lunch for school oh yeah make husband&#8217;s lunch for work, yeah I know I make his too sometimes. Then its off to school. Usually I come home eat something because I didn&#8217;t have time in the early morning. I make good eating choices but sometimes I just don&#8217;t have the energy to make the high antioxidant smoothie that everybody says is so good for you. I usually clean up the house from the evening before like the dishes and tidy up the bathroom. It always looks like it never ever gets cleaned but I swear I clean it everyday. I&#8217;ve resorted to the lysol wipes for really, really quick cleanings. Sometimes I&#8217;ll put a load of laundry on because who wants to do 10 loads at the end of the week. Not me!!!</p>
<p>Getting to my point about Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. I&#8217;m going to pick it up tomorrow and start it tomorrow as well with the 95 day challenge. I&#8217;ve been reading about the results to the 30 minute shred and I&#8217;m liking the way people are commenting about it. There&#8217;s results to this workout tape. I know it takes meal planning along with the exercise but 20 minutes a day for 30 days sounds reasonable to me. I can manage taking 20 minutes a side and doing a ass &#8211; kicking. I will keep you posted about my results and give some personal tips on my journey to losing 20 lbs before August. Yikes!!!</p>

I usually go for the mini vikes camp. They are awesome with the kids ,lots of activities for all types of kids. Thank goodness for summer camps and grandparents because I would be completely lost with them. Well it&#8217;s too bad I just couldn&#8217;t take the summer off and then go back to work in September. I should of been a teacher.  Here&#8217;s a question how long have you been away from you kids? The longest time I&#8217;ve been apart from my child is one week. Would three weeks be too long? Lets try this again would three weeks be to long but with grandparents? My child has a opportunity to go to some pretty amazing places for the three weeks. I feel in my mind that this would be a wonder experience for her but my heart is telling me it&#8217;s way too long. I still haven&#8217;t made my final decision, but my daughter has. She&#8217;s all for it!!!</p>

Some of you don&#8217;t agree with the dieting life style. Somethings it is only for extreme cases. I&#8217;ve been going back and forth with eating healthy then eating fast food a lot. I partly blame the husband for the fast food times which seem to be occurring a lot more then I like. I&#8217;m not putting the whole blame on him but he doesn&#8217;t help either. So here it goes I&#8217;ve started a another new meal plan which is mostly based on speeding up the metabolism. It&#8217;s kind of a quick jump start to weight loss. Now this is not a meal plan that you can be on for an extended period of time. It&#8217;s more just  an incentive to keep you going. The meal plan is for 3 weeks . You eat the same food every day for a week then the second week it changes adding more protein or complex carbohydrates. Same goes for the third week, increasing the amount of food intake. Now you really have to stick with this diet or your just fooling your self. This diet consist  of vegetables, oatmeal, quinoe, low fat meats ( fish,chicken) apples, nuts and berries. Pretty simple right?? Absolutely no refined foods, flour or sugar. I drink coffee and tea so try drinking it with just some artificial sweetner. Or drink it black.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I know spring break is over for most kids&#8230;&#8230;..my daughters just ended Sunday March 21st.  I was planning to bring her to disneyland for March break but my plans fell through. Well honestly I couldn&#8217;t get the time off work but luckily for me I didn&#8217;t say a word about it to her. She didn&#8217;t know what she was missing. At my daughters school Spring Break is 2 weeks long something new this year depending on what district your child is in. I was planning on putting her in kids klub for the 2 week but fortunately my mom (grandma) was able to watch her for one week. I also took a few days off at the end of the week second week to make it a special March break.</p>
<p>We planned a trip to the Aquarium and stayed in a nice hotel with an indoor pool and waterslide. Isn&#8217;t it funny when you plan these kinds of trips, you expect some appreciation from your child. Well I don&#8217;t kmow about others but my child is 5 years old and has it so good in life. I sometimes question myself about the parenting that I&#8217;m doing. I&#8217;m really trying to be a good parent&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;showing her how things work, read,teach, play, love, care, comfort, everything you can think of I&#8217;m doing. But it all comes down to did I give her too much as in treats  (candy, chocolate,ice-cream) new clothes or toys. When is it too much before they have you wrapped around they&#8217;re finger. I&#8217;m cutting a lot of treats out of the equation now when it comes to her misbehaving. I&#8217;m also going to start taking things away that mean something to her.</p>
<p>Ok just had to say all of that because now you know what the trip was like. All in all it was nice to do a family trip before back to the routine of lunches, snacks and after school swimming.</p>
<p>Oh yeah another thing is that we basically could of just as easily have gone to Mexico with the money we spent just going across the water on a ferry to the mainland.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Valentine&#8217;s Day has definitely changed in my house as years go by&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;..When my now husband and I met it was quite something!!! I can remember the first Valentines. He had our apartment nice and cleaned that is a very good way to my heart:) I had just got off work so I knew there would be something waiting for me. I walked into the bedroom to change and found so many goodies on the bed. Flowers, perfume.cozy robe, slippers, jewelery and can&#8217;t forget chocolate.</p>
<p>Now&#8230;&#8230;. it&#8217;s me getting up and 7 am to make pink pancakes for my 5 year old daughter. Don&#8217;t get me wrong I love doing things like that. I also made pink pancakes for my husband too <img src='http://www.nutritiousfood.net/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  We spent the day together going to the park and riding bikes. Our daughter has so much passion when it comes to these types of holidays. I found a coffee cup and turtle chocolates under my pillow. They gave it to me the night before because our daughter can&#8217;t keep surprises that easily.</p>
<p>Valentine&#8217;s Evening after our daughter went to bed we made a beautiful late dinner. Rib eye steak,  lobster tails with roasted potatoes. It was very nice we watched a movie but you know what I don&#8217;t remember it <img src='http://www.nutritiousfood.net/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  I think we were watching the Olympics back and forth as well.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>What a great day for a run&#8230;..I dropped my daughter off at school and headed over to my dad&#8217;s house. We&#8217;ve decided to start running together again. We used to run together last year but things change. I hurt my leg he went on vacation and before you know it it&#8217;s been like 5 months since we last ran together. It sure feels nice to start back up into running. Running to me is something that forces me to see how far I can take it.</p>
<p>We just got back into the swing of things today was our second run together and there is already improvement. We usually run as far as we can without having to stop. Today we ran a great route with hills and abit of trail. Slowly building up my distance. My main goal is to run the 10k again in April. This time I&#8217;m hoping my dad will run in it this year.</p>
<p>Stretching is something that really needs to be done after every run. I&#8217;ve managed to be able to have different techniques with all the clinics I&#8217;ve been apart of. My favorite muscle to stretch is the gluteus maximus I can&#8217;t stretch that enough:)</p>
<p>Another thing to remember is nutrition try eating small about of oatmeal or yogurt with a few nuts. Hydration is key also but if your running in the early morning try drinking enough water the evening before so you don&#8217;t get cramps or stitches. My favorite thing to eat after a run is a nice cold smoothie with lots of antioxidant berries like raspberries, blueberries and blackberries mixed with your favorite yogurt. I like to add a banana and 1 tbsp of almond butter. You can add whole nuts as well whatever kind of nuts you like it just gives the smoothie a bit more protein. I add water to blend the smoothie about 1/3 of a cup. Depends on how you like it thicker or thinner. Also add in some ice to give it that nice icy cold texture.  What a great start to my day now I have to clean up my house before the weekend hits it.</p>

It&#8217;s a Sunday afternoon and I don&#8217;t feel like doing much right now&#8230;&#8230;..so we make it a nice quite Sunday afternoon. By the time the weekend comes I&#8217;m happy I&#8217;m off with my family but I&#8217;m also completely exhausted. My daughter did however go to Gramma&#8217;s for a sleepover on Saturday. She had a great time too&#8230;&#8230;.treats,pizza,movies and feeding ducks. Boy how lucky am I to have grandparents so involved in her life. It gives my hubby and I big break which we need.</p>
<p>I have to confess I&#8217;m totally excited about the Grammy&#8217;s being on tonight!!!! I haven&#8217;t watched the Grammy&#8217;s very much but I&#8217;m in the mood to see extremely rich singers dress up like crazy and be big headed. I have chips and dip for that. The chips are the blue corn organic from Tostitos  and the dip is baja ghanouj soooo yummy and healthy.</p>
